Richard Rushkewicz
Mr. Rushkewicz is the retired Founding CEO of Northbrook Bank & Trust Company, having started the bank in 2000. He served as its Chairman and CEO through 2014 and was its Vice Chairman until April, 2026. A career-long banker for over 50 years, he has held numerous senior management positions and has been involved in the opening of many offices and bank acquisitions. Active throughout his career in local activities, organizations, and volunteer work, he has been a member of the Northbrook Industrial and Commercial Development Commission, the Village’s Economic Development Committee, and is a past director of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northwestern University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife, Lynn, are long-time Glenview residents where they raised three daughters.
